Pros: On the 2nd floor, a bit steep stares. Looks as in the photos. Much better value for money than 2 twin rooms. It is located 2km from Gondola, but host provides free drive to Gondola when we wanted. Charming old building with very nice etno restaurant - convenient for lunch/dinner with good choice and not expensive. Breakfast is in the restaurant on the 1st floor, it was good - one can choose from menu 2 pancakes, or omelette, or baked sandwiches and similar, with one coffee/tea (no honey nor lemon)/homemade airan. Owner and waiters were nice and polite, especially Marija. Walking distance to central old part. Free parking next to it. Clean. We had big balcony looking to main street - it was not noisy at all. There are 2 lovely cats sneaking around.

Cons: Bathroom (as it looks is often in Bulgarian motels, B&B) has no proper shower, even no curtain, i.e. the whole bathroom becomes wet when you take a shower, and there is no cloth to clean it after. Bathroom is big, but lacks hooks or shelves for toiletries, towels for 4 people. Do not expect cleaning during your stay - was not problem for us, but could be if one stays longer. Just some glases in the kitchen area (no mugs, plates...) - we asked in the restaurant to get what we needed. A small disappointment at the end of our stay - we had to leave a day before, as it was nonrefundable option we asked if we can get 2 pizzas (up to 15 eur value) to takeaway instead of 4 breakfasts (over 30 eur), but the owner said we can have just ONE.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great value for the price.

Pros: This hotel is truly a great value for money. Staying in a historic mansion was a unique and enjoyable experience. Having a room with a balcony was a big advantage, especially for smokers. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was quite satisfying. Additionally, having a traditional Bulgarian restaurant on the ground floor with delicious dishes was a wonderful bonus.

Cons: On the downside, daily housekeeping would have made the stay much more comfortable. The toiletries should also have been replenished regularly.

Pros: We loved the apartment, it was clean and big enough for the four of us. Excellent food at the restaurant downstairs (music stopped at 10 so it was quiet at night)

Cons: The bathroom is big but a shower curtain would do great.

Pros: The cabin is very cosy, clean, the staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good, at very good prices. The accommodation is close to the old city centre, a little bit far from the gondola, but we had free shuttle. Totally recommend it!

Cons: No AC in the room, but it's usually not needed. The garden is the place where to be.

I would recommend this place if you would like to stay somewhere that feels a bit like home away from home- it's not

Pros: The place was very home-y and cozy. The hosts were very nice and also drove us to the gondola and back daily which was very appreciated given the distance and discomfort of skiing shoes. They had some really cute cats which we ended up playing with and petting. The food at the restaurant was tasty and overall both the stay and food were very good value for money.

Cons: The place was a bit further from the center of the action than anticipated and the walk to the center was all uphill. The matress was not the most comfortable and sometimes the bathroom smelled a bit of cigarette smoke when we had the ventilation fan on (taking in air from the yard where people smoked).

Excellent location, very comfortable, great food.

Pros: Comfortable and clean spacious apartment with a great and reasonably priced restaurant. The bus to the gondola and back was so convenient and the property is really close to the old town.

Cons: It really was excellent. The only thing that could have been improved was if the kitchen was a bit better equipped. That said, the hosts were very happy to supply us with everything we asked for.

Best value for money (2 real bedrooms)

Pros: Excellent value for money. Top pick if you are looking for two real bedrooms with real beds.

Cons: Food in the restaurant could be better.

We loved our stay, the hosts were warm and welcoming.
