Guest House Holiday in Melnik

Pros: It was everything amazing, better than expected! Breakfast was incredibly good. I'm craving the mekitsi I had for breakfast while writing this!

Pros: Loved it here! A charming hotel in Melnik! Simple rooms with a handy shared coffee machine in the hallway! Comfy bed and basic but functioning bathroom. The staff were lovely and the restaurant downstairs was one of the highlights of our whole Bulgaria trip!

Cosy room

Pros: Cosy room. A/C worked fine. Restaurants nearby. Good bed and pillows.

Cons: Shower made a lake in the bathroom.

Really much better than my last camping in Melnik 35 years ago :)

Pros: Perfect location with parking available in front of the building. Adjacent restaurant is very nice with big variety of tasty local food for friendly rates (10% discount for accomodated persons). Coffee machine in the room is another good point for coffee lowers.

Great stay and breakfast!

Pros: Great accommodation with breakfast included. The breakfast was homemade traditional Bulgarian food and it was absolutely delicious.

Cons: The bed was a bit short.

Lovely modern apartment in the heart of Melnik

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was beautifully peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. Breakfast was included and absolutely worth having - a great way to start each day before heading out The owner was very helpful, though we hardly needed any assistance—it truly felt like a home away from home. It's an ideal base if you're planning to visit the Rozhen Monastery on foot (around an hour's walk with a slightly challenging stretch near the end), explore local wineries, soak in the area's tranquillity, and enjoy delicious regional cuisine and nearby villages. We only stayed a couple of nights, but we could have happily lingered much longer.

Melnik is well worth a visit

Pros: The location was an easy walk to other parts of the small town and restaurants. We included breakfast which was also quite good Parking was not a problem but it it was also the end of the weekend.

Cons: No complaints or criticisms from us

Pleasant Stay Overall

Pros: Good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, with complimentary water and coffee provided. The area was quiet, and parking was available right across from the accommodation. I also enjoyed the breakfast.

Cons: Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which affected the overall experience a bit.

Great apartment in Melnik!

Pros: Great apartment in Melnik! Central location, free parking just outside. Spacious rooms for 2 couples and a kid, very clean. TV (bulgarian and greek channels), kitchen, everything you need. Helpful and friedly owner! Tasty food in the Melnik Bistro downnstairs (same owner, the place where the free breakfast is served. Great choice!
