Bulgaria 🇧🇬

Very pleased, relaxed and pleasently surprised

Pros: Spacious property with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and large, very well equipped kitchen (tens of pans, pots, utensils, etc.) It has a large yard where the children played and we adults drank our tea and coffee. The huge pine trees and singing birds create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It has everything necessary for a great stay. It might lack a pool, jacuzzi and other luxuries, but I would argue that they wouldn’t fit the aesthetic of the house. We were very surprised to find out how much history the house has preserved. This is something I won’t spoil for future guests. The host is kind and catered to all our needs, make sure to ask him about the history of the house and how it ties in with important figures and events of the 20th century. There’s a ton of interesting furniture and items from this period. Our stay exceeded our expectations by far, we planned a weekend barbecue with relatives for Easter and ended up with lots of stories to carry back home.
