Sofia Folklore Life Apartment

Pros: A very cosy and authentic apartment, with a perfect location in the cute neighborhood, near the city center. The hosts were great too .

Pros: Very central and calm neighborhood. Having a dedicated parking inside the building’s courtyard was great. The apartment was clean and there was an almost fully equipped kitchen.

Cons: Being an attic, makes it hard to move around, especially if you’re above average tall. You have to mind your head at all times, especially at night. The mattress was super hard and bigger than the bed, making sleeping not so comfortable. There are many noises from the outside: street noises and MANY airplanes. Closing the windows is too hot, turning on the AC is too cold (you know the drill). The studio is on the third floor without elevator so keep that in mind if you have too many luggage. It would have been great to have more than just two spoons and two forks, and also something to wrap food with (aluminum or plastic foil). The internet is not the best. Bring your own shampoo and hand soap - they use like the ones that are usually found in gas stations. The host was not very welcoming but maybe that’s just an impression considering the very cold, brief, straightforward messages without greetings. Overall these make the stay slightly overpriced.

Pros: We loved this little place for our one night stay. It was thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, perfect location and easy to park. This place has lovely, unique, Bulgarian touches that made it so enjoyable. And the price was fantastic!

Pros: Loved the decor, excellent links to public transportation, easy check in, well equipped kitchen. Parking was amazing, the curtains blocked the sun in an excellent way, and the a/c was flawless.

Cons: I'm not sure I'd stay in this area if I had children with me- the neighborhood is an area where there are some people in the streets with social problems.

Lovely place

Pros: We loved the location, the host was kind enough to provide us with parking as well (which is something hard to find in the centre of Sofia).

Amazing for the price! Top location! You have an 3 min walk access to a mineral water spring!

Pros: The ethno decoration and the style. The little kitchen was veery good!

Cons: Building needs renovation as the air smells moldy. I would stay for much longer.

Pros: Amazing flat, great price, easy access, close to city center.

Cons: The flat is under a major flight route, where planes are taking off frequently at a low altitude. Bit less quiet than expected

Bulgarian thematic apartment

Pros: Beautiful kitchen and red fridge 😍 Ac and wifi was on point

Cons: Hard to find entrance but we had help from some couple that happened to be in the next building. Bed not so confy and the air was a bit stale was impossible to have any sleep No big mirror in the apartment only one in the bathroom but not full mirror

Excellent accommodation. Could not recommend more highly.

Pros: It was a wonderful property. Had a washing machine (and detergent!) so able To catch up with a week’s washing. Great value, especially if you were a couple and wanted to used the cooking facilities.

Cons: Only the late check in. But they met me and kept my luggage for the day. So, nothing really.
