Only a few euro more than a hostel and you have privacy. A own toilet, shower, Airco, internet

Pros: It was very basic, but for the price I payed it was very good. I often travel from Belgium to Karlukovo and back and often I can't do it in one day. So this place is perfect for me when traveling.

Cons: Some other people staying in nearby rooms where very noisy

Good Place. Location close to the center.

Pros: Everything was fine. I had a check out around 11:00 and I had a flight to my country around 22:00. I asked to owner if I can leave my luggage in some place in the building and she agreed that I can leave my things in a storage room. I am so glad for it because I didn't have to carry this luggage with me and I could still explore the city during this time. The owner is very nice and helpful. She writes back efficiently on WhatsApp.

A safe and cosy base in fairly central Sofia

Pros: I booked this hotel after being let down by another one and the differences were stark. I booked and went straight there and was sent full information that would have been perfect if I had seen it before I got to the door. As it was I rang the number I had and a very friendly and polite lady came and let me in and got the keys for me. By then I had seen the message of Booking.com and could have got the keys from the PIN coded safe on the wall with no problems. The room met my needs - a safe lockable room with basic facilities - kettle, toilet shower, TV etc. It's right by the 'Ladies Market' (meaning for 150 years or so it has sold haberdashery, cloth, groceries etc - nothing sinister) which on another stay would have been good to see. I would definitely stay again.

Cons: The room wasn't big enough to swing a cat. As I was somewhat felinely challenged this made no difference to me whatsoever. I only mention it for completeness' sake. I was at the top and my knees moaned at the stairs when I was carrying my luggage, but it wasn't really a problem. It wouldn't keep me away in future.

Pros: Great central location, great value for money, attentive host, took care of any issue that came up (with the shower-room, etc); great check-in/out procedure finding the keys on your own, around the clock without depending on setting up or meeting anyone. Nice, clean and minimalist, the room _is_ small, and serves the purpose well of being a base. The heating - is only AC - which is a plus (also for summer) and a minus, since AC isn't isn't that nice for winter, but it is warm enough however. I was on a snowing day, it was just fine.

Cons: Maybe add some small desk/bar by the bed, for open a laptop on it, or putting a cup of tea. Possible other heating could be nice as long as it's safe.

Pros: The room, bathroom, and bedding were lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons: There were no cups to make a drink. The cupboard on the wall was at a dangerous height. When you came round the corner from the bathroom, the cupboard was at head/eye level.
