Venis House

A lovely and comfortable stay in a great location, but the kitchen could use more equipment

Pros: The apartment was very nice and cozy, with a perfect location. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the building itself was beautiful. There were shops nearby and an excellent kebab place just around the corner

Cons: The kitchen was large and spacious, but the only appliance available was a microwave. It really needs at least a kettle, and ideally also a small stove for cooking

Pros: It's not our first start at Venis House and we'd gladly come here again. The location is very comfy, the rooms are big and nice (even with a balcony), there is air-conditioning, the staff are welcoming and responsive. It offers good value for the price.

It was a nice hotel with very good price-quality proportion.

Pros: I had where to sleep with my son, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious enough and there was a small balcony for me to go out and smoke.

Cons: There is nothing I can mention. It was a one-night stay.

Affordable and convenient listing

Pros: I liked the convenient location, just next to a market and a grocery, also it is located in a busy area with a lot of transportations connections. Overall, my stay was really good. I loved the view, a backyard garden and it was quiet.

Cons: I found that the bathroom is not exactly comfortable, due to the tilted toilet lid, which slammed every time I sat on the toilet. Also, the tiles under the shower are glased and not matted, which is kinda dangerous when you take a shower. The TV didn’t have even one working channel.

good stay for a night on the road

Pros: a nice and cozy place close enough to the park and the pedestrian area (7 min walking) in a quiet part of plovdiv. there were parking spots around the building and they seemed safe. easy check-in (during normal times), got my key and got into town afterwards.

Cons: the bathroom of my room had an incline in the roof, so you couldn't stay straight on your feet all the time. a little crowded, but I wasn't there to go to a spa, just sleep and go further. not to many power plugs, so I had to take out the television to plug my laptop.

Homely

Pros: Nice, clean and comfortable . The receptionist was an amazing lady who had a pleasant disposition. She was was kind and helpful that we felt like being at home❤️

Great location

Pros: Venis house is located in an excellent and quiet location - a great starting point for exploring Plovdiv. The apartment was clean and suitable for a short stay. It had a large and efficient refrigerator and a microwave. There is a shared coffee machine in the corridor. The owner was very friendly and ready to help.

Cons: It's a shame that there are no utensils and plates for preparing breakfast in the apartment. The shower has a drain in the middle of the bathroom and the toilet is all wet after showering.

Pros: Very nice, peaceful central location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was well equipped and comfortable.

Pros: The hostess wonderful and made sure we had everything that we need, even went out of her way to do so. The room was spacious and had 2 terraces, everything being clean, even though we came earlier than the time specified. There are stores and a restaurant really close by so that just adds to the amazing place that this is. Would recommend.

Pretty Plovdiv

Pros: Great location, large bed. Close to central Plovdiv. Fabulous coffee and Cafe Antonio in street behind. Close to supermarket.

Cons: Some instructions on where to leave the key when no one is at reception and you are checking out would be good. Fluffy floor rugs looked a bit tired. Bathroom drains needed a clean. Instructions on water heater would be nice.
