Central good value easy check in English speaking host

Pros: Very close to the central rail station , less than 5 minutes walking. Easy self checking with information given well in advanced. Easy to find on google maps Host speaks English and he allowed me to leave my bags while I did a tour of the town

Cons: I had medication that needed to be kept in the fridge but there was no fridge in the room. I should have asked before I arrived because there was one in the lobby that I could probably have used

Pros: We booked this because of bus leaving at 1.15am in morning -ideal position for bus to Istanbul. Location very convenient for bus into centre for sightseeing as well as walking, every thing was close. Leonardo's restaurant just around corner,Billa supermarket short walk.

Good value for money, good quality good location, despite difficulties in checking in.

Pros: The accommodation was excellent -modern, clean and fresh. The manager was very obliging in enabling me to keep my luggage there after check out.

Cons: Checking in was a problem. The door was locked when I arrived and there was no one at reception. I relied on a current guest to let me in. There was an expectation that guests have a mobile phone to contact the manager (who lives off site) to be able to check in. Not having a mobile phone, I relied on a current guest to enable me to contact reception, and was only then able to check in and directed to my allocated room. If you have a phone, then there should be no problem, other than getting into the guest house in the first place.
