Nice hotel
Pros: The stay was quite good overall. The hotel was very clean and quiet, which made it relaxing. Dinner was really nice, the staff was polite and welcoming.
Cons: Breakfast could have offered more variety, and the coffee wasn’t very good. In the bathroom, there was no rack for shampoo or soap, and no curtain for the shower, which made everything wet after use.

A great escape in Melnik for every season, pool wonderful!
Pros: A wonderful location and the estate was combining everything you need to relax 😌! Food was nice, pool was big and gorgeous, staff was very helpful and made our stay a dream. Value for money for sure!
Cons: I would suggest the sunbeds and umbrella to be changed, they seem very cheap in contrast with the beautiful hotel and pool and gardens. They need something with brown tones or wooden sunbeds, ideally with cushions.

Relaxing and cosy
Pros: Authentic architecture, quiet place with lots of trees, clean rooms and GREAT FOOD. The staff were polite and smiling. The hotel is 2 months. walking from the centre of Melnik.
Cons: The only downside was that the season (start of May) was not suitable for the pool to be filled. We will come back in the summer.

Hotel with a pool - a bonus in Melnik in a heatwave!
Pros: The Elli Greco was a great choice for us, because we wanted a swimming pool. The pool area was lovely (despite the Greek music that we had travelled 7 hours to get away from lol) The food was nice, although slightly more expensive than we expected. The staff were polite and helpful, even made us a toast when we arrived back in the evening and wanted a snack (the kitchen had closed) I would stay there again.
Cons: The hotel is a little out of the village and the walk isn't something I would do in the evening as there are no paths and it's dark. We left our car in the local car park so we didn't have to do the walk in the dark. Also, I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, from reviews I expected something better. No cereals, just typical Bulgarian, sliced cheese/ham - small pastries, tomatoes and cucumber, with bread and boiled eggs. Nothing special. .... and maybe a shower curtain would help to stop the bathroom getting wet.
