Guest House Planinski Zdravets

Pros: The owner was very nice, spoke good English, and helped us with all the questions we had. The guest house is located in the local part of the town, close to the bus station but still not very far from the town center. The house is very charming with a beautiful garden too. In the morning, there was a big, reasonably priced, and delicious local breakfast. Also, the cat was very cute

Pros: The host family was super friendly, helpful and kind to us. Very good people and very good, warm and clean hotel. The breakfast was very good and tasty and in the evening absolutely fantastic dinner with different great dishes. Also they kindly gave us a ride to bus station which helped us a lot and was a nice surprise. We would highly recommend it to everybody who wants to spend time in friendly atmosphere of nice private family hotel. We are 100% satisfied !

Great experience

Pros: Great experience. Absolutely amazing stuff. They have made our stay really enjoyable. Nice food and absolutely amazing herbal tea;) Will be back again.

The authentic Bansko experience

Pros: We went for the first time to Bansko for skiing and chose the Guest House Planinski Zdravets in a rush without expecting much but we were surprised that once we got there we found a very cosy place owned by a lovely family that welcomed us incredibly nice. The food there is freshly cooked by the owner himself and after trying some very fancy restaurants downtown I can tell that his is probably the best traditional cuisine in Bansko! Overall it felt like visiting your bulgarian relatives that are so happy you came by and made our experience there completely different and meaningful! Will most definitely return!

Great value for money, we had a great time!

Pros: Great location, close to the town centre, on a very quiet street with a stunning view of the mountains. The room was clean and spacious. The thing we appreciated the most was our lovely hosts, always happy and helpful.

A delightful traditional guest house which is clean, warm and very friendly.

Pros: We were a party of 6 looking for 3 double rooms in a chalet type environment. This place fit the bill perfectly. The host Stoil was such a lovely person and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were clean and warm with balconies overlooking the mountain. We were given a choice for breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice and enjoyed the home cooked food in a lovely traditional environment.

Cons: The property is maybe a kilometre from the gondola, but the wonderful owner gave us a lift there every morning and provided breakfast early when we wanted it. The walk wasn’t an issue and we enjoyed the walk into the town most evenings.

Pros: Lovely family run guest house, very helpful with everything, lovely breakfast, great location, lovely sauna to use after a day on the slopes. A perfect place to stay in Bansko, we would definitely recommend.

Quiet and comfortable place

Pros: The room was large and comfortable, very quiet area and nice hosts. The restaurant at the house was very pleasant and the prices were much lower compared to most of the restaurants in the village. Also we wanted a quiet place for dinner to be able to talk and this was one of the few restaurants without live music on Fri/Sat. For skiers, there was a good ski wardrobe.

Cons: - Accepted only cash - In Booking a double bed was confirmed, but when we showed up, it turned out to be two single beds next to each other - No shower cabin - The shower stand was worn up and we had to be very careful to not break it
