Hotel Forest Star on the Ski Slope

Thank you for a memorable family holiday and we really hope to see you next year.

Pros: Really v plesantly surprised, the location is perfect, the staff are fabulous, super clean and the beds super comfy, just what you need after a day on the slopes.

Cons: Sweetner at breakfast for diabetics would have made breakfast extra nice diet coke or coke zero on sale at the bar (again for diabetics) would have been great breakfast was cold, if there is anyway they can make the hot food hot or even just have a microwave for people to use that would have been a really good breakfast

Pros: Location could not be better. Everything was by the door step - Lift ticket office, chair lift which we mainly used (horse riding, great sledging slop. Also, all restaurants few min walk). Our room size was great. We liked morning coffee. Great value for money.

Cons: Long steps to the top floor room, but it was part of fun for children.

Pros: A lovely ski in ski out hotel. A couple of minutes walk from the main area and beside the slopes and lifts. Staff are very helpful and friendly

Cons: Rooms a very comfortable but a little compact.

Really enjoyed our family stay

Pros: Location was excellent for ski lift and sledging. Friendly helpful staff. Basic but good value for money.

Cons: Bit noisy at night with snow groomers. Bathroom was not great and cold breakfast takes some getting used to.

Closest hotel to the lifts

Pros: Location to the lifts is perfect, breakfast is good for a morning start, staff was very friendly, stayed here before and will again

Cons: Wifi isn't the greatest, TV lags every few seconds but wasn't to bothered about it

Pros: From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We received great communication before arriving also. You could purchase water, soft drinks and alcohol from the lounge bar at really reasonable prices, cheaper than the supermarket! This was very helpful throughout our stay. The reception was physically manned 24hrs which was something I hadn’t had in mid sized hotels on previous visits to Borovets. The hotel arranged transfers for us at a very reasonable rate and these worked really well. I think the icing on the cake for me was the location. There is a ticket office 10m from the entrance to the hotel and the best option ski lift for the lower slopes within 30 seconds walk! We had a 4 year old with us on this trip so the location, on the edge of a sledging run, was really handy! Sledges were provided by the restaurants and bars beside the slope (illuminated in the evening). Thanks for a great stay Forest Star!!

Cons: Nothing stood out for me to dislike in all honesty.

Good place for families

Pros: Very nice place, we have wonderful view to the mountain. Comfy beds, clean. Very good breakfast, tasty and a lot of choices.

Cons: There was not children chanel on TV. Just for advice for hotel service, it's needed some shower curtain otherwise all water goes outside the shower space.

Pros: Right on the toboggan run, with a small private parking for about 10 cars, polite staff, decent breakfast

Cons: The dining room does not match the capacity of the bedrooms. You have to wait for a table to be free for breakfast. The toaster is for home use, only for two slices of bread and it is very slow. I did not like that the paid package includes Nescafe, but you have to pay extra for espresso.
