Family Hotel Santo Bansko

Budget hotel with 5* experience

Pros: What a fabulous find, basic, budget, traditional, family run hotel, close to the main gondola, ski hire, apres bars and great restaurants. What it lacked in luxury, was certainly made up for in the warm, friendly welcome of the owners Marianna and her husband, who went over and above to make our stay as 5 star as possible, including arranging airport transfers, very late check-in, super toasty room, freshly cooked omelette every morning, and by far, the best coffee in Bansko!!! Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again if ever I return.

Cons: Maybe a dust behind the radiator and under the bed would have been good but that's me being very pernickety!!!

Pros: Very friendly, nice and warm, good shower with high water pressure 5 minute walk to the gondola Off the main road so nice and quiet at night

Pros: Very nice hosts and after a day of skiing the room was very warm and a very hot shower. Breakfast fresh and very good.

Great value for the money and attentive host.

Pros: Location is definitely the biggest advantage of the property. The host Marina is very kind and friendly, she met our needs for everything we asked and was available at any time.

Cons: Mattresses on beds were a bit uncomoftable. The shower drain was a little clogged.

Great hosts, great location

Pros: The couple who run the hotel are so welcoming and generous. Maria Ana was very accommodating with our breakfast requests and we always started the day full. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from where we hired our equipment and then it was a 2-min walk to the gondola. The room was big and spacious with a decent-sized fridge. They organised our airport transfers for us and everything was very well communicated and punctual. We would return without a doubt.

Cons: Some people might find the beds too soft.

Pros: The location is great, 5 min to the main street with lots of restaurants and 8-10 min (max) to the gondola. The family who runs the hotel is really nice and helpful. The rooms maybe a little outdated but everything is clean and warm and comfortable. Also every morning we had a rich breakfast.

Amazing hotel experience

Pros: The hotel's location is superb! Situated near the gondola lift, vibrant pubs, and excellent restaurants, convenience is at your doorstep. Our room was simple but impeccably cleaned and tidied daily, with fresh towels provided without even needing to request them. One delightful morning, the owner treated us to freshly made pancakes, adding a delightful twist to our breakfast experience. Notably, the couple who own the hotel were incredibly warm and hospitable. Very pleased with our stay :)
