Lovely villa hotel next to the Roman walls.

Pros: Located by one of the Roman gates and only a very short walk away from the main Roman sites in town. The Roman wall forms the garden boundary! Good breakfast.

Cons: Very hot because of the heating, so had to have bedroom window open throughout.

Another visit..

Pros: Clean and friendly place. Central location. Nice restaurant ( Balkan) nearby.Plenty of space in the car park. Big rooms with nice view.

Cons: Fifth visit! I have to admit, standards are a little down. Towels are worn and very hard and thin. The same goes for the bedsheets and chair upholstery. Some of the bathroom sanitary has to be updated as well. Breakfast is still good but the products are now low quality. It used to be Nuttela, but now it is a jar with a cheap chocolate spread. The orange juice is something with an orange colour but awful taste. The hot plate sausages won't even comment.

Cons: Slightly outdated interior with a lot of artificial flowers, limited breakfast with a bad quality coffee (you need to pay 2 BGN / 1 Euro for the other option- a Lavazza capsule coffee), no recreational facilities except a small jacuzzi at the yard

A lovely boutique hotel at a reasonable price

Pros: A beautiful small boutique hotel located on the inside of the old Roman wall. You can actually feel and see the details of the wall in their lovely garden. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, the lady in charge is sweet and welcoming, breakfast is varied and tasty and the price is reasonable. We loved the place

Cons: In terms of spa - do not have high expectations. There is just a regular jacuzzi and sauna - the jacuzzi does not use mineral but rather regular water.

Another great stay!

Pros: Another visit, may our fourth one. Standards are still at a very high level for everything. Best and most generous breakfast ever. Polite and caring staff, ready to solve even the smallest problem. Very clean and welcoming. Parking is not a problem. Next to the villa is a nice and cosy authentic Bulgarian restaurant.
