Beautiful property, outstandingly helpful and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast and excellent location

Pros: Beautiful property, outstandingly helpful and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast and excellent location - what's not to like? A cute touch is you're welcomed with a welcome sign and your name written on a blackboard. And home made lemonade. And a map of the city where the lovely lady on Reception shows key places you might want to visit. Rooms are furnished with antiques and quirky charm. They're all different, so bear that in mind when booking (ie so you select the room you want). Breakfast is very good. And a nice touch if you book with breakfast is you have wine and cheese included in the afternoon. (I'm not a wine drinker but home made lemonade was also available). Their price point was more than I wanted to pay but worth it 😊. Thank you for a lovely stay

A lovely place in Plovdiv

Pros: Breakfast was simply outstanding - especially, for the price: varied, nicely served, high-quality products. The lady, who served it, was super-nice. The rooms The room was very clean, nice bed linen.

Cons: I am Totally confident that this hotel is just amazing in warmer time if the year, but It’s quite obvious that it was an off-season in Jan: we had to self-check in at 7 pm, being the only guests, and it was literally freezing all the time until morning - the ac didn’t cope with winter cold, and there’s no central heating.. even the floor in the bathroom was ice cold..

Pros: Amazing location in the historic city centre, parking was provided. The hotel was very clean, the host was super friendly, we got as a welcome present traditional Bulgarian cheese and wine. Breakfast was amazing also, coffee, tea, diverse choices of cheeses, salamis and hams of really good quality, fruit, yogurt, gems and honey. Would stay there again.

Pros: We loved it! Spacious but cosy, wonderful staff and a rich breakfast.

Perfect for the wine festival and other visits

Pros: Comfy, traditional hotel in the heart of the old town- with parking and a warm welcome for our Pekinese dog!

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning

Fantadtic Hotel

Pros: I have travelled all over europe - but this hotel gave us a fantsstic welcome! We had complimentary coffee and a vebal tour guide of the city on arrival. They really had an appreciation of our nerds, expectations and beliefs. A great hotel which was well located in the old town. They went well above what to expect with Customer Service. Fabulous hotel!!

Cons: Eveything about the hotel, with a personal touch with complimentary wine and cheese after 4pm.

Beautiful historic place, lovingly refurbished

Pros: Beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. The photos are exactly what you get :) The shower in our bathroom was enormous! Breakfast was fine, and the staff were lovely. We'd have been happy to stay for longer.

Cons: Nothing. Loved it all, though a lift, rather than two flights of stairs would be handy. But you can't have it all in such a historic property.

If we are in Plovdiv again we will only stop here

Pros: This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It is located in the historic center; there is a possibility to park a car; all amenities are nearby. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a retro style; everything is there. The hosts welcome guests with wine and cheese of their own production, as well as an inscription that lifts the mood immediately upon arrival.

Great place to stay in Plovdiv

Pros: Nice large rooms in a good location. Very good breakfast. Very welcoming with free small bottle of wine every day.

Cons: Did not have bar fridge
