Pop Bogomil family hotel

Wonderful staff

Pros: The most friendly and kind hearted receptionists, they change between mornings and nights, we met four people and I honestly can't think a bad thing for them, some spoke English better than others, some none, but all of them truly tried to help us to our every need even when they didn't have the answer, the room was always warm, the bed soft and the water in the bathtub if you let it run a little was warm as well, I had a great time.

Cons: The room was a bit too small for the money we paid and the bathroom door even though it close and opens didn't have a handle.

Pros: The staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as it can and we're all super caring and helpful

Pros: Perfect location!!! Great and quick problem resolution from the management team Also very happy with the elderly gentleman who works at night shifts (him and the manager were the most pleasant people from the whole place)

Cons: The gentleman who supposed to work at the reception at night was sleeping constantly and not happy that he had to open the door for me (was after 22:00).Also so unprofessional making unreasonable comments and weird communication overall ! However the elderly gentleman who was working at night shifts too - I can’t fault him! Very very pleasant, helpful and professional!

To sum up, very good option for the money you pay.

Pros: The hotel is located in a central place close to a metro station but also possible to walk to many places of interest in Sofia. I appreciate the kindness and willingness of the lady at the reception to help us with our heavy suitcases. The room was clean, basic.

Cons: Only the bathroom door is not possible to lock and the pillows need to be replaced.

Pros: The location was great with easy access to the city center. The hotel staff was Wonderful. The hotel had a courtyard that was beautiful and the room itself has everything we needed.

Pros: A budget place walkable from the train and bus station. It was great for a late check-in. Like the other reviews say it is not a modern or stylish place, but I thought it was very comfortable. It has loads of pluses; 24 hour desk, 12:00 pm check-out, luggage storage, private bathroom, fridge and outside space. No air con, but a powerful fan.It also has really nice staff. It's near a metro and only 15 or 20 minutes walk to the centre.

Cons: A kettle and microwave or small kitchen somewhere would be great.

Nice value for the money in the center, for short stay, with working 24 hours reception desk

Pros: 1. Location. About 8 minutes on foot from bus station, few minutes to city center. 2. Great value for the price. 3. Staff. Speak English, very helpful. 4. Actual 24 hours reception desk - important for people, who need to come back late night

Cons: No hooks for towels in the bathrooms, but there were mount holes for the in the walls. Not critical but strange.
