Sveta Sofia Hotel

Pros: This was a family stay with three beds for myself, my 21-year-old daughter, and my 19-year-old son. The room was generously sized, comfortably above average, and provided ample space for our luggage, making the stay very comfortable for all three of us. Complimentary internet access was reliable and worked very well throughout our stay. The shower was excellent, with strong water pressure and consistently hot water, and the room itself was pleasantly quiet, with no disturbance from outside noise, allowing for a great night’s rest. The staff were particularly noteworthy, friendly, welcoming, and multilingual, which made communication easy and the overall experience even more enjoyable. They were always happy to help, professional in their approach, and created a warm, relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay.

Great weekend in Sofia

Pros: Better than we expected. Top location, pleasent staff, renovated rooms. Would go back again.

Nice stay and rest overnight, especially if you go sightseeing during the day.

Pros: The location is very good, a little old pedestrian street but everything in the center is near. There is a paid parking very close at correct price of around €12 for 24hrs. The stuff is friendly, especially lady at the reception. Sheets were clean so was the room. Kettler and coffee and tea free of charge. Rooms look exactly like the photos. Restaurant is large and correct, breakfast solid for the price range. Good value for money.

Cons: The room we got at first was a little noisy, the reason was a ventilation near the wall. We have asked and got another, quiet, room without problem.

Pros: Good location, near to the central metro station of Serdika.

Pros: Nice breakfast and close to metro and downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and excellent shower. Kettle with tea and coffee provided in the room. A mini fridge is also in the room.

Cons: WiFi has a habit of dropping out regularly. Sadly noisy neighbours in the room above kept us up all of the last night.

Pros: Close to the metro Serdika (ca. 5 minutes for a walk)! Very clean! Was very warm and comfortable! Quiet! Very friendly and helpful staff! All the facilities! I had a kitchen area in my room! Tasteful breakfast! Благодарю 🙏🏼

A wonderful stay. Sofia is very beautiful and the hotel was a short step from the key attractions.

Pros: Decor excellent. Room very spacious. Staff courteous and helpful. Continental style breakfast was plentiful.

Cons: Breakfast coffee possibly had too much chickory - it tasted very bitter. Free coffee and tea in the room was unnecessarily very frugal.

An enjoyable stay in Sofia with the family

Pros: 1.The location of the hotel was great. Situated in the centre, in a quiet surroundings and a 10-minute-walk from most of the prominent landmarks and Serdika metro station. The bus station is a 20-minute-walk from the hotel. 2.The breakfast was basic but really tasty. The kids enjoyed the scrambled eggs and blueberry jam 😊 and the coffee was strong ☕ 4. We could sleep well, the beds were comfortable and it was not noisy. You could hear the neighbours from time to time but nothing serious. 5. There was a water cooker and some coffee and tea. 6. The stay was overall fine - we only spent the evenings/nights in the hotel as we were sightseeing during the day and found our stay pretty much enjoyable.

Cons: The Internet connection was lost one evening but luckily restored in the morning. Also, the hotel boasts 4 stars. Based on my subjective opinion and experience, I would give it 3 stars.
