MPM Hotel Sport Ski-in

A very classy place to stay in a great resort, recommended

Pros: Fantastic Location, very friendly staff, very cozy surroundings for relaxing and meals. I’d recommend and stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely outstanding hotel that I cannot fault

Pros: Brilliant ski in and ski out location. The staff were incredible- couldn’t do enough for you, I literally cannot fault them. The cleaning of the room was brilliant and she’d come back if you weren’t ready for her. Everything was restocked each day - we always had coffee and water. The hotel has all the services you would need for a ski holiday. The food was outstanding - both breakfast and dinner. Was the best I’ve had in a hotel. The waiting staff were also brilliant. I can’t think of one negative of this hotel.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient. The breakfasts were tasty and well prepared. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made sleeping very pleasant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We would be happy to stay here again.

Cons: The main downside was the air conditioning system. The rooms felt extremely stuffy, almost like a sauna, and there was no possibility to lower the temperature. The corridors had a noticeable damp smell, which suggests the hotel could benefit from some modernization. Considering that the hotel has a large spa complex, it would be expected to have a more powerful hair dryer — drying hair with the provided one takes far too long.

Very good location for skiers, very good cuisine, very clean

Pros: The hotel is very clean, everywhere you go. The staff was super-friendly, both at the restaurant and at the front desk (especially the bell boy, with very good English) and the lobby bar. The cuisine was above our expectations, having the option to choose our individual dinner menu every day. Breakfast was very rich too. Ski rental facility downstairs also comes in handy.

Cons: The spa/swimming pool facility looks good, but has very poor staff. One of their main objectives should be to make sure people take a shower before entering the swimming pool, the roman baths or the Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, although this is written on most walls, nobody from the hotel staff enforces it. Most of the hotel guests don't shower before entering the water. The hotel also allows outside visitors to the swimming pool and the spa and the Jacuzzi. These people never shower and nobody tells them to do it. There are two people from the hotel, one with a yellow lifeguard t-shirt and one with regular white t-shirt, but they don't intervene... In addition, the hotel got crowded after Jan 4, with many of the new guests jumping in the pool and almost hurting other people, ignoring the wall signs and being ignored by the hotel staff.

A hotel to remember in Bansko

Pros: perfect location, great / spacious (2 adults 2 children) / clean rooms. Well mentained saunas. The value / price is better than at Kempinski, and 100% rooms are much better.

Very pleasant

Pros: -Location is great for skiing -Room was nice and had a gorgeous view -Breakfast was nice with nice views and good service

Cons: -Lighting in the room (and in the hotel lobby) is abhorrent: white and fluorescent! -No room number labels (for some rooms) in the corridor after the lift in third floor (unclear how to go to our room) - I corresponded with the hotel and the led me to believe that they sell ski passes there (booking.com desc says this too). Upon arrival the reception said they do not sell ski passes and they never did and he wondered why I (and other people) thought that! We found out later that there was a kiosk right next to our hotel selling these, but it was weird that the receptionist didn't know that and didn't direct us there!

Convenient, comfortable, and we will come again.

Pros: The concierge greeters and the breakfast restaurant staff both left us with a very warm and friendly impression. The maintenance staff from the engineering department who came to repair the water pipes were also polite and considerate. The housekeeping staff were professional and efficient.

Cons: If the long-haired girl who handled the check-in could have a smile on her face, I believe the entire check-in process would have been perfect.

great for a few days skiing

Pros: Good food and views from the hotel. Lovely pool as well. The outside bar space over looking the ski run was great.
