Hotel Royal Plovdiv

Pros: Very convenient location, a large and comfortable room, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bedding and pillows were excellent. The breakfasts were delicious. Overall, everything was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Cons: The hotel advertises a gym and spa, but they are located in a separate building, so you have to go outside to access them. While it is free and possible to do so, walking even 50 meters outdoors after the spa is inconvenient, especially in winter. Also, the view from the window was not pleasant — there is a completely ruined building nearby. This is not really the hotel’s fault, but it does look strange.

The front desk staff gentleman during the day was excellent, really friendly.

Pros: Very clean and spacious, near shops and town centre.

Cons: The breakfast menu should have a vegetarian option clearly displayed

Pros: Overall excellent. Great location, great food, very comfortable room and very accommodating staff.

Cons: Didn’t like that gym and spa wasn’t in the same building.

Cons: Temperature in the rooms was high and cool aircon option was disabled Main bar should be open, it is fully stocked but they don't staff it.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff was always ready to help. The rooms were very clean.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't very good, although maybe because they had few guests. Location outside old town might be sub-optimal for people who don't like walking

Pros: There are welcome and refreshing drinks at the 24/7 reception desk, really nice for the hot summer weather. There’s an underground parking for your car. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had really nice breakfast included and you also have spa included with your booking.

Cons: The spa is in a separate building just 50-100 meters down the street, but it has a lot of amenities and it was absolutely free for us as guests of the hotel.

Excellent hotel, short walk to the old town. Restaurant has great food and reasonable prices.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Secure parking.

Cons: There are a few felicitated buildings in the area.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and it was very clean. Location was great between the train station and the city center.

Cons: Food can be improved as some of the pancakes were burnt and was not that great.
