Safari Village Velingrad

Overall a lovely villa to enjoy, but minor repairs should be considered to make it exceptional

Pros: We booked the Superior Villa and were not disappointed. It is the last house on the top of the slope, so it felt very private and secluded and allowed us to enjoy the premises to the fullest extent. Getting your own house, complete with a big fireplace, for that kind of money is amazing. Breakfast was homemade. We requested it delivered to the villa and the staff was perfectly happy to deliver it. For some bizarre reason, we ended up being the only people in the complex during our stay. I found it odd, because the hotel opposite is more expensive and it was full, but we were more than happy with our villa in Safari Village Velingrad and we thought it an unexpected bonus to our stay.

Cons: The fireplace is amazing and it is the one reason why we chose this place over others in the region. However, it is not coated and the water pipes run very close to it. If you light a big fire, it heats up the pipes and the water inside starts hissing and evaporating, with steam coming out the cupboard nearby. It felt unsafe, but then we realised it is just water so the worst could have been a burst pipe. We left it on and it was fine in the end. The second night, we just kept the fire a bit smaller and we had no issues, but it is definitely something that should be addressed and repaired if possible. Speaking of repairs, the shower pod leaks free, making the bathroom tricky to use after a shower. An easy fix would be a mop handy, but there was none.

Safari Village

Pros: Thankfully, we practically had the whole place to ourselves for the first two days, so booked an extra night. Glad we didn't stay any longer once the Bulgarian holidays had started, though! the pool was really warm. The food in the restaurant was good and 1 member of staff spoke really good English which was a huge help, particularly in trying to get the shower fixed. They allowed us to park our bike in the store room.

Cons: You had to position yourself in the right place between the slats in the bed to sleep comfortably. Once others arrived for the Bulgarian holidays, it was not peaceful, and I can imagine once really busy, there would be no space in the pool. Horrible smell in bathroom. On the first night the credit card machine was broken and we were not informed until we came to pay-thankfully the girl who spoke English helped and we were able to pay the next day. It was quite expensive for what it was and we wouldn't have stayed the extra night had it not been empty.

Pros: We loved everything of this place from the very first moment we parked our car. Beautiful landscape around, lot of green, a warm welcome. The room was in stone and keeping a great temperature inside even during the summer heat. We were surprised by the swimming pool being hot - we did not know that - but it was pleasant in any case. Food and service delicious and at a fair price. Thank you, we will come again!

Amazing stay!

Pros: We went to the reception the moment we arrived, the woman there was very nice and lucky for us our room was already ready. She showed us around the hotel, told us about breakfast hours , then escorted us to the room. The rooms are exactly as they are in the pictures! Everything was neat and clean , pillows were a little uncomfortable, but there was a second (different) set in the cabinet ! The pool is a little small, but the fact that you can go there no matter the time kind of compensates for the size, night swims are amazing. The breakfast is in the restaurant next to the hotel, you get a menu and have to choose from 5/ 6 different foods, and the food is amazing ,everyone there was also very nice and kind ( the prices are also pretty good ) . Overall, we really enjoyed our stay,definitely will visit again ,and definitely recommend!

Cons: I think the only thing i found a little annoying was the pipe noise that came from time to time .

I would visit again, liked very much the type of buildings, nature around and polite staff

Pros: Very polite and friendly staff. The facility is new and well integrated with the nature around. Just above the forest, very well decorated facility with stones and wood. Delicious food as well.

Cons: The room we did choose was a bit small

Pros: Номер хороший, чисто, тепло, выглядит интересно . Приятный персонал. Ресторан с живой музыкой на территории

Cons: Маленький спа, кухня так себе, завтрак который входит в стоимость слишком простой

Pros: Мястото е прекрасно. Персоналът е много усмихнат и любезен. Със сигурност ще ги посетим отново

Прекрасно място за релакс

Pros: Прекарахме си страхотно. Стаите са супер уютни, чисти и персонала е супер любезен. Механата е страхотна, готвят уникално вкусно и музикантите са много готини хора. Няма нещо което да не ни хареса. С удоволствие ще посетим отново.

Cons: Няма такова нещо! Всичко ни хареса

Pros: Изключително красиво разположение на вилите.Направо в гората .Прекрасно съчетание на дърво и камък ,цветя, зеленина .Изумителни гледки от балконите и открития басейн.Бяхме там с моето голямо семейство .Никой не скучаеше,за всеки имаше развлечение включително и тинейджърите.Ресторанта предлага храна за всеки вкус.Задушевна атмосфера,сафари,разходки до Велинград през сенчеста пътека .Ведро настроение от страна на персонала,който ежедневно се грижи за чистотата.Едно запазено кътче сред природата. Ще отидем и през зимата за да се насладим на топлината на камината. Жалко,че наоколо изсичат дърветата и строят лъскави и помпозни хотели.
